For beginners, you can tie a string on, which allows you to quickly and easily remove the egg. When you become a more badass vagina queen, you can just stick two fingers in and remove the egg or squat down and "birth" the egg. You can use the string to do more advanced egg exercises, where you pull on the string to give resistance to the egg when it is inside the vagina, so that your pelvic floor muscles have to be activated to keep the egg in place. This way of using the yoni egg increases your pelvic floor strength and pleasure.

We recommend that you start with a medium, because it is a perfect size that can be used by both beginners and lifelong practitioners. But if you have had two or more vaginal births, it may be good to start with a large yoni egg, as it will be easier for the muscles to feel and hold.
